È qui che Yoon Jong-bin ambienta il suo potente Beastie Boys, il ritratto (senza filtri) di ciò che si nasconde sotto la patina luccicante della musica e dei cocktail. Una storia dura, dove la povertà dei giovani bar boys fa da contrappunto alla ricchezza delle donne mature che seducono. Una storia cruda di solitudini e di gigolò, di accompagnatori, “quelli che scalciano e urlano - sono parole del regista - per sopravvivere dentro una società superficiale e capitalistica”. Niente moralismo: solo grande cinema.
